SugarCRM Lead Management Review

SugarCRM is an advanced lead management and CRM platform from Silicon Valley that automates marketing and sales and enhances customer support and teamwork. From the acquaintance with your brand and until the conversion, Sugarcrm automatically collects and analyzes information left by leads to provide you with an accurate customer view and a strategic approach.

Sugarcrm eliminates manual and excessive labor by automating, analyzing, and predicting customer behavior in real-time, helping businesses close more sales and achieve long-term success.

At the same time, the software is intuitive and easy to grasp so you won’t have to spend much time getting the hang of it. SugarCRM starts working for you immediately after the integration, providing you with data-driven decisions, real-time prompts, reports, and more. Bringing it all to one place, Sugarcrm makes it simple while keeping every team member on the ball.

Industries and Companies

The data may vary, but it’s known that at least around 6,000 businesses all over the world are using SugarCRM with most users located in the United States, the United Kingdom, and India. The software is most popular with small companies employing less than 50 people and making up to $10 million in revenue, but there are also over 350 large-scale businesses using SugarCRM.

The lead management system is most popular in computer software, information technology & services, and marketing & advertising, with over a hundred customers in IT, telecommunications, hospital & healthcare, computer hardware, education management, and retail.

Meta Rating

Rating-wise, SugarCRM seats fairly high, ahead of Scorpion, Leadfeeder, and even Hubspot. This, however, is based on the rating assessments of four review agencies – Capterra, G2, Trustpilot, and Crozdesk – so there still might be some error of representativeness. But then again, the average 4.1 means people see SugarCRM lead management software as reliable and trustworthy.

Best Features

SugarCRM are feature-packed across four major verticals: marketing automation, sales automation, customer services, and on-premises CRM.

Advanced Automation

Just like any other lead management platform, Sugarcrm is built to automate and scale. However, it does surpass many of its competitors, allowing for near-full automation and infinite scaling.

Ease of Integration and Use

You don’t have to get a tech guru to get the hang of Sugarcrm. Easy to install and integrate, it won’t take much of your time until it starts paying off. Entering and nurturing leads is as easy as it can be in a CRM.

Flexibility

Not only can you create custom modules, but most of the modules are interconnected with each other, enabling one systematic approach to prospects, leads, and customers.

Reliability

Instant customer support and the absence of glitches are highly valued by those for whom time is money. Should an issue appear, it will be solved by the support team in the shortest time.

Market Share and Forecast

Despite a comparatively small number of clients – 6,000 proven clients are not too many for a world-scale lead management company – Sugarcrm does capture a tangible market share: 1.51%. But then again, some other renowned CRMs – for example, Zoho (5.72%), Microsoft Dynamics (7.49%), and Salesforce (42.7%) are far ahead.

Prediction-wise, no one has the crystal ball, but it’s clear that if the company continues to disrupt the industry the way it has been doing for years, it has every chance not only to remain competitive but grow to bigger numbers. Speaking of predictions, SugarCRM runs forecasting software so you can imagine the best, normal, and worst-case scenarios based on the data you have.

For me, the best thing about SugarCRM is that it’s easy to use and integrate. I didn’t even have to ask anyone for help to install the software and connect it to our other tools. Sugar did harmonize the workflow by collecting miscellaneous lead data and delivering it on a silver platter to the team.

+ PROS: Easy integration and use; can be set up independently
    - CONS: Price

Very consistent lead management platform with lots of interconnected modules and features. I love this all-embracing approach to lead management, and I’ve already gotten tons of value from Sugarcrm.

  3. We like Sugar Sell’s adaptability and simplicity in meeting our requirements. Many modules and fields have been adaptable for us to better fit our everyday operations. Since we’ve been using Sugar for eight years, it has only gotten better. We anticipate the new features that will be released this year, especially the updated user interface.

  4. List navigation via paging and loading. For each classification, I’d like to specify how many records to load. All of this should be computerized. Ideally, we could pull this off.

  5. Action buttons, as well as the flexibility to alter the appearance and feel of the program depending on usage patterns. Filtering and layout modifications.
